The way they treat Norway, makes more No votes for EU. What if England, instead of helping Irland and Scotland, would shut up the Shellafield atomic polution, which can kill us all, and in stead cut out, this over long time attack on norwegian fish farmers, who are more efficient than the British. Very many think that the Britsh is trying to destroy the fish farming in Norway. We hope they will not succed!!!

This attacks has been going on for many years now, helped by the English gowerment. In stead of making food, the British are destroying the environment. Shame on you! Is this legial for you in EU? Aftenposten: The EU Commission wants to place an average 16 percent anti-dumping tariff on Norwegian salmon. The tariff world reportedly cost Norwegian seafood producers more than NOK 1.3 billion (USD 210 million) a year.

Lisbeth Berg-Hansen of the salmon producers' trade association FHL-Havbruk is upset over the EU claims that Norway dumps its salmon on the European market. "They're mixing numbers to suit themselves," she said. "Many producers won't be able to tolerate a tariff like this."

Berg-Hansen wants Norway to file a complaint with the World Trade Organization. Seafood producer Ole Eirik Lerøy says the battle isn't over yet, while Per Dag Iversen of FHL doubts the EU can produce evidence of dumping.

"The classic definition of dumping is sale of a product under its cost," Iversen said. "All of the producers the EU has investigated have earned money. They can't be dumping at the same time."
